Greek translations
Taking into account the linguistic challenges involved in the translation process, and the unique characteristics of the Greek alphabet, one could say that Greek is a language of immeasurable historic significance, being among the oldest Indo-European languages, with a history of over 3,000 years, while modern Greek is one of the 23 official languages of the European Union. It is spoken by approximately 15 million people in Greece (it is the country’s official language and is used by about 99.5% of the population), while it is also used in Cyprus, the Balkans and in Greek communities all over the world.

One should also note the strong presence of Greek in the international scientific, etymological and technical community. Grammatically, the Greek language is distinguished by its powerful compound-constructing ability, which is why it has always been one of the traditional languages of western science, mainly the natural sciences.
